Privacy policy

This policy explains what Exact AI Inc. ("Exact", "we", "us") collects through this website and what we do with it. It covers this website and our waitlist only. Our product will have its own terms and data processing agreement for customers.

What we collect

• Waitlist details you give us: your first and last name and work email, and optionally your company name and a rough number of AI seats.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) to run and secure the site. We use your IP address to limit repeated sign-up attempts.
• Visit statistics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and visits in aggregate. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you across other sites.

We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site, and the site doesn't set cookies.

How we use it

• To contact you about early access, design-partner openings and product updates related to the waitlist.
• To understand which kinds of companies are interested in Exact.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who processes it for us

• Vercel hosts this website and provides its cookie-free visit statistics.
• Airtable stores waitlist sign-ups.
• Upstash briefly holds IP addresses and email addresses to limit repeated sign-up attempts and repeat emails, for no more than 10 minutes.
• Resend sends our emails.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to delete them, or until we close the waitlist and no longer need them, whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing jordan@theexactai.com. Every email we send will also include a way to opt out. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we'll honor them.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. If the change is material, we'll let waitlist members know by email.
